First C2C Home Competition Design Under Construction

Blue Ridge Housing Development Corporation is building the Feather-Rife house C2C Home Competition design on Gilmer Avenue in historic Gainsboro. Southern Heritage Homes has been contracted by BRHDC to construct the custom modular units. The house is currently under construction and is being prepared to be placed on the site in the next few months.

Week 2 of Construction - this is where Framing with FSC Lumber/Electricity/Plumbing is completed.

Below is one of the Mobile Work Stations that Southern Heritage Homes uses. Unlike conventional modular construction, the cube is stationary while the tools and work stations are moved as needed.
